As part of MLS's Jersey Week--during which 17 clubs will unveil new kits--the Red Bulls are slated to release a new look on Tuesday, Mar. 4. All signs point to either a new away kit or a new alternate kit, given the fact that the white home jersey will go unchanged for the upcoming campaign.

Judging by the following invitation (unfortunately, the event is a private affair), the jersey will feature a familiar navy color along with several yellow accents. This combination could also signal the return of those famous yellow shorts--love them or hate them, it would be an eye-catching look, to say the least.

Even with this teasing preview, many supporters have taken the opportunity to design their own secondary kits. There seems to be a strong affinity for the red-and-black stripes from the days of the MetroStars, as evidenced by these designs.

This mock-up sees the red-and-black stripes return to bolster the ever-present Red Bulls logo. This mock-up sees the red-and-black stripes return to bolster the ever-present Red Bulls logo.

While the above jersey may go a bit heavy on the stripes, the below jersey looks perfect to us. Such a clean, stylish look--make it happen, front office!

With less stripes than the above jersey and an ultimately cleaner look, this design is our favorite. Make it happen, front office! With less stripes than the above jersey and an ultimately cleaner look, this design is our clear favorite.

With the Red Bulls starting their campaign on Mar. 8 at the Vancouver Whitecaps--a side that wears a white home kit--the new secondary kit will likely make its debut. Hopefully, it will be winning one.

No matter how the new kit looks, we'll be stocking it in all of our Upper 90 stores come the official release date. We also have plenty of now-dated away kits for those looking to hold onto the mightily successful 2013 campaign.
